Favourite nail polishes!

I'm currently OBSESSED with polishes. I have OPI's Glow Up Already on my nails now. It is awesome!

You guessed it! Today's post will be on Nail Polishes - my favourite colours!

As most of you already know, there are several steps involved in a manicure! For the more elaborate ones, you still have to buff, file, trim cuticles, so on and so forth. But for extremely lazy people like me, it'll just be trimming, shaping and painting nails! Funny, isn't it? You would think a person that particular about beauty products to be more meticulous about this kind of thing.

Shall not stray from my actual topic! I shall start now!

Top coat!

This is by far the best top coat I've ever used! It dries in literally two minutes flat! But that also depends on how many coats of polish you have on your hand. It also gives the most spectacular finish to your polish!

Base coat!

Honestly though, I think all base coats are the same. So long as they have 'ridge filling' properties, it is automatically good enough for me!

I can and would go on and on about my favourite shades but they're just too many to name! I love polishes from Orly, from Essie, from China Glaze too! I limited myself to strictly two per brand. It was so difficult to narrow the list down. So this would have to do for awhile. I'll come back and update my list of favourite nail polishes soon though!

Normally, I just do a coat of base coat, two coats of polish, and a coat of top coat!

I prefer those colours only need one coat of polish to get opaque! I'm just too lazy to wait for the many coats to dry! Being the usual clumsy me, I'll chip my manicure within two to three days anyway!

Skincare products!

Today's post will be on skincare products. The ones that I use. It is an extremely crucial step to ensure your skin's health! I use facial cleanser, exfoliater, toner, moisturizer, and occasional face masks!

Facial Cleanser!

Gets rid of your impurities.

Exfoliater!

Once in awhile, I do exfoliate as well. But I find that this is too harsh for Asian skin.

Toner!

Important because it removes any traces of makeup and cleanser that may be still on your skin! It also temporarily tightens your pores!

Moisturizer!

Extremely important if you were to sleep in air-conditioned rooms! Plus, with the aircon blasted at us in school, it is all the more important!

Makeup remover!

For those who use makeup!

I've been using the same products over and over again, I think I'm ready for a change now.

Day-to-day Makeup Products

This is the first post that I'm gonna write for my SIWM blog! Basically, my blog's going to be on beauty-related stuff. It has been an obsession since two years ago! Beauty-related meaning nail polish, makeup, etcetra. Be warned that my blog's targeted to mostly female readers, since I doubt guys would even be remotely interested in what I have to share!

So for this post, I think I'm going to write about my favourite products at the moment! Essential products are concealer, foundation, powder, blush, and eyeliner! I don't put eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss often, because it really is a hassle to remove! I don't like the feeling of having something on my lips either.

Without futher ado, let's begin!

Concealer!

Perfect if you have dry skin! I'm in the shade NW35, I think. However, if you don't mind very drying products, you can try the one in the pot!

Liquid Foundation!

I'm in the shade Early Tan! It's still a little too dark for me though. Many reviews from other sites mentioned that this is comparable to MAC's or Makeupforever's. I would still want to purchase the two! Maybe next time.

Blush!

Well Dressed is my favourite shade! Springsheen too. But this is the colour I reach for the most! The exact colour above! A very pretty pink!

Eyeliner!

I have this in Graphblack! It's basically... black. Pretty self-explanatory here. :)

Powder foundation!

I use this to set my liquid one. I have combination skin(oily and dry at parts), and I don't really dig the 'dewy' skin look, so I press this all over my face after liquid foundation and concealer is done!

And as for eyeshadows, I use neutral shades the most!

Eyeshadows!

These are all MAC. There are some brown shades from Etude House that I absolutely adore too!

Mascara!

This is my absolute favourite, Covergirl Lashblast.

Lipgloss!

I have this in Peach Smoothie(#361)! Nice colour and the name sounds yummmy too!

These are all products that I use the most.

The lipgloss, and the mascara were gifts!
